In just five years, SA Gourmet Meats has successfully grown from its original shop in Magill to its now five stores across the Adelaide metropolitan area.
Responsibility for this dynamic growth lies with now Director (and used-to-be sausage maker) Ben Gordon.
His secret? ‘It’s no secret!’ says Ben as he prepares another tray of chicken satays. ‘It’s all about offering what the customer’s in the area surrounding each of our shops prefer and making this available at a fair price – and, of course, best available quality and totally fresh’.
‘We work hard at presenting a good front to the public and making shopping for meat a pleasant and rewarding experience’, he continued. ‘Whilst each of our team members has been chosen firstly for their butchering knowledge, skills and experience, a close second is them having a personable and understanding approach to customers. It’s all about the service we provide to customers’ Ben concluded.
